2010
Time flies and it's now 2010. Dango the bull terrier wishes all her human and canine friends out there a fruitful year ahead. Here is a picture of me on my play mattress.

Just what were they thinking?
I went shopping in town today and saw these two jokers squatting next to the bus lane like this. It doesn't take a genius to know that it's very dangerous doing that - even a dog knows that.

Another member in the family
I overheard my Lady Boss saying that Auntie Nat has given birth to a baby girl Megan recently. That means our family clan's headcount has increased. In case you've forgotten, Zen and Patches are the precious furries of Auntie Nat, and they're also the god-dogs of my Lady Boss. Congratulations to Auntie Nat & Uncle Ed on the arrival of a cute baby girl.

Enjoying dim sum
Tired from my errands, I sat down for a simple dim sum lunch in a quiet part of Orchard Road. The dim sum here is fantastic - the dish on the right is the restaurant's signature 'half bao', while the one on the left is one of the best steam beancurd rolls I've ever eaten.
And of course, I am not telling you where this restaurant is, other than the fact that it is in Orchard Road..... otherwise it will become a noisy, over-packed place in no time.

Big Shot at Raffles Place
It was one of those few occasions that I took a walk at the Central Business District a few weeks ago, and this was what I witnessed on that day. Whoever was in the black car (2nd picture, the white car in the first picture was the scout) must be a real big shot. The whole street was cleared during lunch time peak hour for him to pass.

Auntie June's Birthday
The month of June is Auntie June's birthday (and hence the name June), so I treated my favourite auntie to a birthday meal. Auntie June is one of Lady Boss' best friends and she loves me almost as much as Lady Boss does. We went to Cheryl Lee's restaurant at East Coast Parkway, called 1-Twenty Six. Food was fantastic, and very fresh too. Cheryl also owns another fantastic restaurant called One Rochester.
This is what I had at 1-Twenty Six: half dozen yummy oysters and a lamb shank.

Dango or Laurie
My Lady Boss told me that before she adopted me, my former owner called me Laurie. What do you readers think? Which name suits me better: Dango or Laurie?

When it rains...
I may be a brave, macho dog that no one dares to come near. And I may have a reputation as a killer dog, BUT when it rains, this is what happens.

Mobile Blogging
Good news to all my fans out there.
I recently discovered that one can actually blog while on the move. So now, I could be having a grand time on the yacht and still be able to post a blog entry from my cellphone or Blackberry. Going forward, there should be (hopefully) more regular updates from the Bulliegal.
For those other busy dogs out there like me, here is how you can do your mobile blogging.

The face that stole her heart
.

While there was no one around at home the other day, I took the chance to log onto the PC for my usual game of World of Warcraft. But instead, I discovered something hidden in the hard disk of the lao-pok computer, tucked away....almost forgotten.
Tadaaaaa...... these are the pictures from my adoption advertisement almost 4 years ago. On hindsight, I can understand why Lady Boss responded to the ad. See! I so cute. How can she not want to bring me home?
Lady Boss told me that I was very dirty and smelly when I first came home. So smelly that Ryan kor-kor my next door neighbour could smell me from his living room whenever I wonder out into the garden. But now, I am a clean, clean dog.... and a very happy one :)

Dango @ the beach
Over the weekend, I went swimming at the beach with Lady Boss and Auntie Simbian. I had so much fun, and Lady Boss is happy to see me enjoying myself, because there are so many things that she has to take care of and she seldom have the chance to take me out much.

For more pictures of myself with Auntie Simbian, go to http://www.verybian.com/2009/01/18/the-day-the-nicest-forumer-died/

3 years
Time flies, and it has been 3 years since I came to my present home. To celebrate the occasion, my Lady Boss bought a Cookie Monster (see below) for me.

She initially wanted to have a party for me, but was so busy with so many things that in the end, the party idea was scrapped. Still, I got a nice 3rd anniversary adoption present from Aunties FF, N and B. Thanks so much!

Dango goes to F1
The first ever F1 Grand Prix night race was held in Singapore on 28th September 2008 and I, Dango the bull terrier, was there to watch it :D Although I have watch F1 on TV many times as a dog audience and don't seem to find it terribly exciting, I must say that watching it 'live' is an entirely different thing. The mood was electrifying and you could feel the excitement in the air.
Besides, street racing, unlike track racing, is more challenging for the F1 drivers. The streets are narrower and over-taking is more difficult.
The whole place was like a big theme park, there was even a band jamming away to provide live music.
A make shift washroom just one level below our suite. Even though it's a make shift toilet, the interior is as clean as and looks like a hotel toilet in town.
We arrived at our suite just in time for a lavish buffet dinner catered by Hyatt Regency. Also in the suite were other Wealth Management and Global Markets clients of the institution that hosted us (as you might have guessed by now, our F1 suite ticket was an invitation)
There was a lot of drama and lots of excitement - Massa (representing Ferrari) was ahead of the pack for more than half the race, until he went for refuelling and some mistakes occurred. He dropped from No.1 to No.18 right away.
Plus other dramas like crashes, etc.
All in all, I had a great time. Woof!

We stepped out to our spectator seats after dinner to watch the race. This is how fast they moved!

That's disgusting
.

In case you can't see clearly and are wondering what's that in the picture, it's actually a snail coiled around a piece of my dung and sucking up all its glory ;)
It was there for a good few hours and after that, I couldn't bear to watch anymore.
One man's meat, another man's poison.
One animal's dung, another animal's treasure.
