BIG BOSS SAYS AGAIN...

These should have been written some time back, but credit due must be given...

We were apprehensive when we adopted Dango. There were so much tales about dogs chewing up their owners'belongings. And Bull Terriers have such powereful jaws. So the first day she came, we had all our shoes and other things on the floor kept.

NO, Dango never destroy any of her owners' properties. No chewing of shoes, furnitures, or any other things well within her reach. In fact she is very careful not to damage anything, even during a wild indoor ball game . Any one can notice she made quite some efforts to avoided crashing into any thing. And that is respect !

Dango has great discretion. She is alert and defensive when she encounter big burly men. But she treats children ( and most females ) very differently. Many times she charged to the front gate in response to some noise disturbances, but come to a skidding brake when she discovered it is children. The whole body language changed to a friendly one. She can even distingushed the engine sound of our neighbours' cars ( so she BO CHAP )from that of strangers'( agressive barking )

Dango never take any food not meant for her. Tried and tested. All our food on the dinnig table will not be touched even when we are not around. The girl has her own strict code of conduct.

When we give her chewing treats like dried salmon skin stick, or rib bones ,or dried lamb ears( after some jumping exercise to get to them ), she will run to the door mat to chew, so as not to litter the place.

Dango never waste any food. She pick up every bit of food spilled over. She remembers the hungry years.

BUT SIGH ! Big Boss is a biker, and she has some ancient grudges with motorcycles. When ever Big Boss mount his bike, Dango will charge to attack the tires. That she never change. A mystery .

Any way , what more can one ask of a Bull Terrier ? Big Boss and Lady Boss sure are the most happy Bull Terrier owners.

Dango is a great dog and so well-behaved! I think BTs are so cute and most of them are very gentle.

I just can say: you're lucky owners. You got a great dog.
Unfortunately this is not our case. We have really lovely dog, but we had many "incidents" with forniture. It was always the same reason for it: he was reclaiming more attetion. But that was when he was a puppy. Now he changed to gardening... :D
